Inspiring Awareness session on Organ Donation

Celebrating Day 4 of National Surgeons Week on 12 June 2026, Rotary Club of New Gurgaon, in association with Aarvy Healthcare, Sector 90, Gurugram, organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp and an inspiring Organ & Body Donation Awareness Session. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of healthcare professionals and local residents. The session commenced with a welcome address by Club President Rtn Rahul Agarwal and was led by Rotary District Organ Donation Chair Rtn Sudip Dey. Through powerful insights and real-life examples, he highlighted that a single organ donor can save up to 8 lives and positively impact over 25 patients. In its continued commitment to community health and preventive care, the Rotary Club of New Gurgaon successfully organized an impactful online webinar on Cervical Cancer Awareness, attended by over 100 participants, including Rotarians, Interact students, school teachers, parents, and community members. The session was Chaired by Rtn Mini Agarwal and led by Dr. Pushpa Sethi, District Governor Nominee (RY 2027-28), a renowned Obstetrician and Gynaecologist whose five decades of medical expertise brought immense value to the audience. Dr. Sethi eloquently addressed myths and facts surrounding cervical cancer, explained the role of the HPV virus, highlighted the importance of timely vaccination and screening, and shared key government initiatives and guidelines. Free Eye Camp at Emaar Palm Garden

The Rotary Club of New Gurgaon, in collaboration with residents of Emaar Palm Garden, Sector 83, organized a Mega Free Eye Screening Camp for support staff and nearby communities. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with 65 individuals receiving free eye screenings, along with free medicines and spectacles distributed to those in need. Beneficiaries included security personnel, housekeeping and maintenance staff, domestic helpers, workers, and residents from nearby villages. The initiative was made possible through the active participation of Emaar Palm Garden residents and volunteers, whose efforts ensured smooth execution and maximum outreach. The camp was sponsored and managed by the Rotary Club of New Gurgaon.

Visit to Aashray – A Shelter of Destitute

In a heartwarming act of service, members and partners of the Rotary Club of New Gurgaon visited Aashray, a shelter home for over 40 destitute women at Farrukhnagar. The club donated a Water Air Cooler, generously sponsored by Mr. Jai Luthra (son of Rtn Kamal Luthra and Mrs. Poonam Luthra), and a Bluetooth Wireless Speaker sponsored by Rtn Mini Agarwal, bringing comfort and cheer to the residents. Spreading Comfort, Learning & Care By RCNG

Rotary Club strengthened its commitment towards education and child welfare through a meaningful visit to an Aarya Sikshantar Foundation (An NGO school founded by Ms Bhavna). With hearts full of compassion, club members distributed durries to ensure students could sit and study comfortably. To support early learning, 350 course books for Nursery, LKG, UKG and Class 1 students were gifted (Sponsered by IPDG Rtn Dr Mahesh Trikha), along with 150 notebooks to encourage regular learning & writing habits. Understanding the importance of girls’ health and dignity, 50 sanitary pads were also distributed. The project reflected Rotary’s spirit of care, education and empowerment, bringing smiles and hope to young learners. Rotary Club of New Gurgaon organized a Mega Eye Check-up Camp on 18th May 2026 in collaboration with Primus Resident Condominium Association, Gautami Eye Institute, and Lens Bus. The camp benefitted 110 underprivileged support staff including security guards, housekeeping teams, and domestic helpers. Free eye screening, medicines, and spectacles were provided to needy beneficiaries by the medical team. The project was chaired by Rtn Vanita Sakhuja. Monthly Hygiene & Health Service Drive

Gurgaon, May 17, 2026: Demonstrating its continued commitment towards community welfare, Rotary Club of New Gurgaon successfully organized its Monthly Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive at its adopted slum area in Sector 83, Gurgaon. The initiative benefited more than 40 women through free sanitary pad and hygiene kit distribution, promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and dignity among underserved communities. A key highlight of the camp was free gynaecologist consultations for 15 underprivileged women conducted by Dr. Vrinda from Aarvy Healthcare. Free medicines were also distributed to all patients. The club expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Vikram and Dr. Reenu for their constant support to this monthly initiative. Special thanks were also extended to Dr. B.S. Rotary Club of New Gurgaon and Rotary Club of South Gurugram, in collaboration with Curativo Clinic, Bhonsi, Gurgaon successfully organized a Free Physiotherapy Camp for the community at Central Park 3, Sohna, Gurugram. The camp commenced at 10:00 AM and continued till 3:00 PM, offering expert consultation, posture assessment, pain evaluation, and therapy sessions. A total of 24 beneficiaries including residents, support staff, senior citizens, and nearby underprivileged community members availed the free services and received much-needed guidance for pain management and mobility improvement. The initiative witnessed the gracious presence and active support of Rotarians. The project reflected Rotary’s commitment towards community health, wellness, and service above self.

Rotary Club of New Gurgaon successfully organized its Monthly Sanitary Pad Distribution Drive at its adopted slum area in Sector 83, Gurgaon. The initiative benefited more than 40 women through free sanitary pad and hygiene kit distribution, promoting menstrual hygiene awareness and dignity among underserved communities. A key highlight of the camp was free pediatric consultations for 24 underprivileged children conducted by Dr. Susmiita Yadav from Aarvy Healthcare. Free medicines were also distributed to all patients. As a gesture of appreciation, Club President Rtn Rahul Agarwal presented a token of gratitude to Dr. Susmiita Yadav for her valuable and selfless service. Free Eye Check-Up & Cataract Surgery Camp Navada

Rotary Club of New Gurgaon, in collaboration with Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, organized a Free Eye Check-Up and Cataract Surgery Camp on 9th Nov 2025 at Village Nawada, Sector 86, Gurugram. Over 210 villagers, including women and senior citizens, benefited through free eye tests, medicines, and spectacles. The camp was inaugurated by DG Rtn Dr. Ravinder Gugnani and First Lady Mrs. Monika Gugnani, in the presence of senior Rotary leaders and dignitaries. Around 200 patients were examined, 120 spectacles distributed, and 25 registered for free cataract surgeries to be conducted next week at Dr. Shroff’s Hospital, Delhi. Rotary will arrange transport, meals, and stay for all patients. President Rtn Rahul Agarwal thanked the dignitaries and Dr. Shroff’s team for their dedication. Drug-Free Awareness Talk Show | 30th July 2025

Rotary Club of New Gurgaon, in collaboration with Interact Club BBPS Manesar, conducted an impactful awareness session on 30th July 2025 focused on drug prevention, mental health, and sustainability. Over 300 students attended the talk show at BBPS Manesar. Rtn. Dr. Ram Kumar Yadav addressed the harmful impact of drug abuse, motivating students to make informed choices. Rtn. Mauli Bhatnagar emphasized the importance of emotional well-being and encouraged open conversations around mental health. Rtn. Despite morning rain, Rotary Club of New Gurgaon adapted swiftly. President Rtn Rahul Agarwal arranged an alternate venue at a nearby temple. Rtn Mini Agarwal and IPP Rtn Ram Kumar Yadav coordinated with the local school Principal, Mrs. Poonam Yadav, where a rally and awareness session were conducted with 300+ students. A powerful Nukkad Natak and talk on drug abuse were delivered. The rally continued through the village, ending at the temple, where the play was again performed for local women who also shared concerns. The event was further supported by 35 students and teachers of BBPS Manesar, led by Mrs. Rajni Sharma. The barren patch was cleaned and revived with 15 Pilkhan trees. The drive was inaugurated by Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Mayor, Manesar, and warmly welcomed by Dr. V.K. Gupta, Mrs. Mamta Gupta, and Club President Rtn. Rahul Agarwal. IPP Rtn. Dr. Ram Kumar Yadav and Dr. Nirmal Yadav explained the importance of Pilkhan trees.
