On 1st July 2025, Rotary Club of New Gurgaon, in collaboration with Silverstreak Multispecialty Hospital, launched a mega tree plantation drive at GMDA green belt, Sector 87, Gurugram. The barren patch was cleaned and revived with 15 Pilkhan trees. The drive was inaugurated by Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Mayor, Manesar, and warmly welcomed by Dr. V.K. Gupta, Mrs. Mamta Gupta, and Club President Rtn. Rahul Agarwal. IPP Rtn. Dr. Ram Kumar Yadav and Dr. Nirmal Yadav explained the importance of Pilkhan trees. Phase-wise development was announced by Rtn. Reena Mathur, Rtn. Ashok Malik & Rtn. Sarika Agarwal. Club Secretary Rtn. Piyush Mittal and Treasurer Rtn. Mini Agarwal shared landscaping plans. Rtn. Kamal & Poonam Luthra suggested a medicinal corner. Rtn. Surya Dev confirmed tree care by the hospital. The club reaffirmed its commitment to environmental projects in 2025-26.
