Overview
Rotary Club of New Gurgaon organized an educational visit to the Rotary Blood Bank for biology students of St Xavier interact school, creating a powerful blend of classroom learning and real-life exposure. The visit enabled students to understand the science and significance of blood donation, reinforcing that a single donation can save lives.
Students explored blood storage facilities, centrifugation and autoclave machines, and gained insights into blood testing, collection processes, and the Thalassemia ward. The experience provided a deeper appreciation of medical infrastructure and humanitarian service.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to the Blood Bank team, school leadership, Interact Incharges, and Rotary members for making this impactful learning experience possible.
This was not just education, but inspiration towards humanity.
